After the initial scream, Kiddo decided she needed to keep the grasshopper..
And named him Fred....
He's sorta cute in a weird alien way....

Update: Fred got released back into the wild Wednesday afternoon, after a VERY long day with Kiddo at her school, much to his relief.
Pity for the lizard and caterpillar, who were her next victims.They also got
